Onism - Exhibition (2018)

'Onism explores the frustration of being stuck in just one body, that inhabits only one place at a time, which is like standing in front of the departures screen at an airport, flicking over strange place names, each representing one more thing you'll never get to see before you die -  and all because, as the arrow on the map helpfully points out, you are here.'

Onism is a thought provoking piece taking on current affairs and is a touching reminder of the fragility of life whilst constantly questioning ones mortality and choices. Onism was inspired by a commute on a Moscow tube, in which a female suicide bomber brought the lives of 36 people to an end.

The exhibit is a hard hitting, emotional rollercoaster that asks the questions that need to be asked of ourselves, our lives, our society and our world.
